About Me
- Name: Linda
- Location: Duluth, Minnesota, United States
I grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania on a farm. My Dad was a farmer and worked a night shift job in addition to farming for 20 years. My Mother worked part time for the local town Doctor, as his nurse. I'm the oldest of 6 children. I'm the oldest my sister the youngest, with 4 brothers in between. Also, 8 years in between us first three and last three siblings. I came to Duluth as a bride in December, 1969. I met my Duluthian husband to be when he was in the Army in New Cumberland, PA. He wanted to start his married life in his hometown and I agreed. (I was very naive about that). Together Bob and I raised 3 great children, all grown now...a grandson and a granddaughter...all the delights of our lives. I would not have survived 36 years in this town if not for the support given me by my husband, Mother in law and her family, parents and all the many friends that I have made throughout these years.

Thanks for sharing the remembrances of your trip to Pennsylvaia! You're so fortunate to have that big family.
Yes, I know how very blessed I am to have the family that I have, both PA and here. I am also blessed to have such good friends here in Duluth, like you Lois!
Thank you!
