Christ Is Risen!

On this day, we celebrate resurrection, Christ is risen.
Christ is risen indeed!
Friendship once killed by frosty misunderstanding,
Blooms again in warm reconciliation.
Hopes glimmering and gone are rekindled,
By expressions of caring.
Faith, dulled by lack of exercise,
Dances again to God's everyday rhythms.
We come to worship the God whose resurrection power lives,
for Christ is risen.
Christ is Risen indeed!
