Spring is Trying to Get Here - Saw Green

My husband wanted me to go with him to his Cardiologists appointment on Friday morning, so I took the whole day off and convinced him we should go down that afternoon to visit our daughter and her family.

It was raining when we left Duluth on Friday, and it rained the whole way to Hudson. I had told my husband that the weather down there would be much better, but it wasn’t on Friday. However, we saw GREEN down there…the lawns are green, and though I didn’t see any buds on the trees yet, I did see buds sprouting some places in our daughter’s yard.

Saturday, the sun came out, and though it was quite windy, the temperature was a good 10 degrees warmer than Duluth, and yesterday the day there was beautiful when we left, almost 60 and it was 48 when we got back home! The rain did bring some more green upon our return, the lawns are looking green now, instead of the icky yellow and brown. A few trees of our trees look like they are “trying” to bud, but most of them are still stark bare.
