After the Storm - Beautiful
What a beautiful morning we have in Duluth! The sun is so bright, and reflecting on all of the snow, it is so bright and beautiful out there. I just might go outside for a walk! Our street and homes got all plowed out yesterday and last evening, with the exception of our neighbors across the street that are in Arizona. Bob tried to snow blow their driveway, but the drifts were too high for his snowblower, he couldn't make a dent. I see now, that someone is over there blowing it out, with a much larger snow blower than we have. I am posting some more photos from the storm that I took from the Duluth News Tribune this morning. Instead of crediting each, I will say they are from the Tribune's photographers: Andrew Krueger, Clint Austin, Derek Montgomery. You may click on my link on the left to see all of their photos from the last three days, and also some readers photos. Also, you can read stories, and check out Sam Cook's columns about the last week.
My husband had "Fitness Center" withdrawal, as he goes there everyday to work out, but of course, not the last 2 days. He is there now. He did get a work out here with the snow blowing and shoveling, however, he missed the "hot tub" and was looking forward to that. I'll bet it's a busy place today!
I baked some of the cookie dough I mixed up yesterday afternoon. Still have more to finish.
It seems that for women, often being stuck inside, means baking cookies!
